Climate & Clothing

NOVEMBER to FEBRUARY is the cool season. Nights are cold (we provide hot water
bottles and heaters), but the days are warm and sunny with temperatures rarely going above 80° F. Guests are advised to bring very warm clothes (including jackets, hats and gloves) for the early morning drives into the Park. The warm season arrives in mid-MARCH. The days are hot and sunny and summer clothes are required with a light sweater for the evenings.
Avoid bright colours in the park and bring a hat and sunglasses. Binoculars are useful along with adequate film (or memory cards) and batteries, since these are not readily available locally.
